Born Collin Demar Edwards in Portmore, Jamaica, Demarco is one of the most complete artists in Caribbean music — a producer, songwriter, recording engineer, music video director, and live performer all in one. He has been building music since the age of 16.

After honing his craft in Jamaica's sound system culture, Demarco moved to the United States where he absorbed hip-hop and R&B production. He returned with a new flavor — writing for Bounty Killer, producing Charly Black's global hit "Gyal You A Party Animal," and writing for Rihanna.

His breakout "Fallen Soldiers" (2007) topped Jamaica's charts for over a month. His crossover record "No Wahala" with Akon and Runtown reached 39M+ YouTube views and helped define the dancehall-meets-Afrobeats sound. His debut album Melody (2021) — named after his daughter — features Sean Paul, Shaggy, Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, Spice, and Ky-Mani Marley.
